Türkan Travels was born out of a passion for cross-cultural communication by Turkish influencer, travel vlogger, and entrepreneur Türkan Atay.

Before starting her company, Türkan Atay moved to Pakistan to pursue her higher education. She graduated from the University of Central Punjab (UCP) in Lahore, where she lived for several years. During her time in Pakistan, she deeply immersed herself in the local lifestyle, food, and culture, and became completely fluent in Urdu.

After completing her studies, Atay realized there was an immense, untapped curiosity about Turkey among Pakistani and South Asian audiences, largely driven by the popularity of Turkish dramas in the region. In 2020, she launched her digital content journey on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram — speaking in fluent Urdu, showcasing authentic Turkish traditions and lifestyle, street food and hidden local culinary gems, and travel guides tailored for South Asian foreigners.

Her audience grew to millions of followers across social platforms. As her travel tips went viral, hundreds of followers began reaching out for personalized advice, itinerary planning, and help avoiding tourist traps.

Recognizing the demand for trusted, hassle-free tourism, Atay transitioned from content creator to entrepreneur by officializing Türkan Travels, an officially licensed Turkish travel agency, alongside her co-partners. Today the agency specializes in both private and group luxury tours, designing itineraries covering Istanbul, Cappadocia, Trabzon, Bursa, Antalya, and every major and minor city in Turkey — including unique cultural experiences such as local Turkish village tours.
