Arrival in Baku
Arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where our representative meets you and transfers you privately to your hotel. Check-in is from 14:00. Freshen up and rest, then the evening is yours to explore Baku at your own pace. Overnight in Baku.

Day 2
Ateshgah, Yanar Dağ & Heydar Aliyev Centre
After breakfast, drive about 30 km to Surakhany on the outskirts of Baku for Ateshgah, the ancient Zoroastrian fire temple built around a natural gas vent — your guide covers both its history and the phenomenon that made it possible. Continue to Yanar Dağ, the "Burning Mountain", a hillside where natural gas has burned along the slope since antiquity and Azerbaijan's most famous eternal flame. On the way back, stop for photographs at the Heydar Aliyev Centre, Zaha Hadid's 619,000 sq ft building whose roof folds down into the landscape as a single continuous surface (exterior viewing). Overnight in Baku.

Day 3
Baku City & Old City Walking Tour
After breakfast, a half-day walking tour through the past and present of Baku. Enter İçərişəhər, the UNESCO-listed walled old city — a maze of narrow lanes, stone roads and old wooden balconies — then the Museum of Miniature Books, the Palace of the Shirvanshahs with its courtyard, royal chambers and mausoleums, and the Maiden Tower, the most mysterious and recognisable monument in the city. Out through the walls to Fountain Square, once lined with the mansions of oil magnates. After a lunch break, continue to Baku Boulevard for Little Venice and the Carpet Museum, ride the funicular up for the view, and finish at the Flame Towers, Martyrs' Lane and Highland Park. Overnight in Baku.
